One of the Waverley area’s best surviving Late Victorian villas is still for sale after it failed to sell at an auction in October. *Update: The house sold in December 2012 for $5.6 million

The two-story Italianate home, complete with castellated tower, was built sometime between 1880 and 1883 (sources vary). The elaborate stucco, scrollwork, iron lace and etched glass front door are all said to be original.
